San Clemente’s shores are receptive to both northwest and southern swells creating extremely consistent waves. This makes it the perfect place for both beginners to learn and for surf competitions! San Clemente has many beginner-friendly beaches to choose from. Its beaches with more advanced waves draw surfers from around the world. Rip Curl holds both the men’s and women’s World Surf League (WSL) Finals for the World Title here at Lower Trestles annually. It’s an awesome experience to see in person; definitely add it to your bucket list!
Meet us at T St. Beach
T St. Beach is located just south of the San Clemente Pier. Many novices learn by the Pier because this beachbreak has lots of whitewater waves. The wide, sandy shore provides smooth rides and ample time to work on popping-up. This area is also a favorite with visitors because of the charming downtown area that surrounds the Pier with cute shops, fun restaurants, and interesting bars.
Parking can be found on the surrounding neighborhood streets, with additional spots at the end of W Paseo De Cristobal.
Our instructors will meet you at T St. Beach with surfboards & wetsuits. All you have to do is show up ready to catch waves!
